Spinach Oats Cutlet

INGREDIENTS :

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup spinach finally chopped
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green coriander
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic and green chilly paste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds
  • 1 tsp garlic powder ( optional )
  • 1/2 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • salt
  • oil for deep frying

You can also shallow fry it

  • Take a pan and dry roast the oats for about 2 min
  • Do not over roast otherwise it will taste bitter when mix in other ingredients

  • In the same pan take 1/2 tsp butter and cook the spinach in butter will all its water evaporates and it becomes dry

  • Take both oats and spinach in a bowl add green coriander and green peas also

  • Put all the ingredients in a mixer grinder and make a fine paste
  • Add all the ingredients that is ginger garlic green chilly paste, oregano powder, black pepper powder , cumin powder, poppy seeds , garlic powder  and salt. Mix well

  • Grease your hand with oil
  • Make small balls and flat them
  • Deep fry the patties
