maggie wedges

Every other person in India knows about maggi,but have you ever heard about maggi wedges.I know you have already started salivating. 🙂

INGREDIENTS :

  • 2 maggie cakes
  • 3 maggie masala sachet ( which is with along the maggie cakes. I prefer 3 packs )
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • 1/2 cup boiled peas
  • 1/2 cup cheese
  • 1 tsp chilly flakes ( optional )
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Salt as per taste
  • A square baking dish lined by aluminium foil
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • oil for shallow frying

METHOD :

  • Take a pan add water and maggie in it.

  • Add maggie masala, chilly flakes and oregano in it
  • When the water starts boiling add vegetables

  • When a little water reduces add cheese
  • Add salt as required

  • Let the water reduce completely and make the maggie dry

  • Line the baking square pot with aluminium foil

  • Put the maggie in it and level it nicely

  • Place the pot in the refrigerator
  • When the maggie sets ( it takes about 15 to 20 min ) ,take it out.

  • Cut it in square wedges shape

  • Coat the wedges in bread crumbs and shallow fry it
  • Serve with sauce
